"Emergence" is an interpretation inspired
by and presented with the improvisational music of Michael
J. Weber. It explores a mind's struggle to come to terms
with emotional conflict. The character in this story is
trying desperately to make sense of his memories and feelings,
as portrayed by a night walk through rain and wind. The
outside environment parallels his inner storm of emotion.
Repeating thoughts and sensations affect him as he travels
through the darkness to an uncertain destination.
