Studio History

The Bandar Animation Studio was founded in 1999. As a student animator, I intended the studio to be a creative entity through which I could explore my craft. I have since graduated from Syracuse University, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Graphics. Building on my previous experience both in and out of the classroom, I continue to work today using a variety of techniques and aesthetics. I aspire to create exceptional animation while maintaining a distinctive "artist's hand" in its quality.

Artist's Statement

Animation is a unifying medium, combining imagery, sound, and time into a single artistic statement. It has a dimension of expression unrestricted by the traditional boundaries of still image. In my work, I strive to create sophisticated animation with strong cinematic foundations, and visual language that is both effective and beautiful. These elements have the ability to create unique experiences for the mind and spirit that are singular to the animated artform. It is these possibilities that fuel my desire to create, and hint at the true potential and power of animation. I wish to explore this power in the years to come as an independent artist. My goal is to share my passion with others, and perhaps broaden their perspectives on what animation can be.
