From an cosmographic perspective, Siirk sees Bandar as a strategic position to any potential warfare with Belgotia. In an effort to justify military action before the Republic, Siirk falsely claims that Bandar is in military conspiracy with Belgotia. An outraged Belgotia quickly denies the accusation. The Republic Senate calls for Bandar to deny these accusations as well. The Bandarins are unwilling, however, to take part in these proceedings. They acknowledge no authority of the Republic and express their continued desire to remain independent of all Republic politics. Over the next month and a half, tensions continue to intensify between Siirk, Belgotia, the Republic, and now Bandar.

.10.09 - Under the order of Prime Minister Mijar, a Siirkin invasionary fleet attacks and occupies the colony of Lywwondar. They meet with no resistance from the Lywwondarins. The Tlalo'kala Mon (Second Dark Age) has begun. Admiral Kyarin Alaric leads a surprise counterattack with a formerly civilian Bandarin fleet, now outfitted as war cruisers. Despite their origins, the Bandarin warships are technologically formidable and their crews prove to be precise and unified. Commander Sothi Henson leads the first Wartide Fighter Squadron, which is instrumental in their victory. The battle ends with the retreat of a poorly-prepared Siirkin invasionary fleet after . This is later known as the First Battle of Bandar.

.02.15 - Three days after the First Battle of Bandar, a second Siirkin warfleet arrives in the Bandarin System, this time larger and more suited for space battle. The Second Battle of Bandar begins. Although they fight admirably, the Bandarin fleet is too small to withstand Siirkin assault. After 2 days of battle, their numbers are dwindling. However, during the 3rd day of battle, a Klylkeen War Armada arrives in the Bandar System. They state their intentions to aid their Bandarin friends and engage the Siirkin fleet. The combined Bandarin and Klylkeen fleets prove formidable to the Siirkins. After 3 more days of fighting, Siirkin forces are sent into retreat. This is later known as the Second Battle of Bandar.

and after - Siirkin expansion has been halted for the time being. Their defeat by the Bandarins and Klylkeen has motivated the Republic to more firmly oppose their militant activity. After 600 years of isolation, Bandar consents to join the Republic. This is mostly due the efforts of the Klylkeen to convince them of the Republic's honorable foundations. Bandar also hopes to find allies who will help in the liberation of Lywwondar (still a stronghold of the Siirkin Empire).

.04.27 - The Empire of Siirk secedes from the Galactic Republic.
