In many ways, Henson represents a blending of traditional Bandarin culture with the very different lifestyle of space-travel (full bio »). His appearance reflects this, as he wears simple, hand-crafted clothing, contrasted by the modern utility of his jacket and gear. Of course, this dichotomy goes much deeper than a simple matter of appearance.
